Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is a community-conscious, action oriented organization. Since its inception in 1931, the Iota Zeta Chapter has provided services and support to the community. One of our major thrusts is scholarship, which has been the impetus for awards averaging $500 to $2,000 per year to deserving high school seniors.
This scholarship is in honor of Iota Zeta Charter Member and past National Scholarship Chair, Carolyn Cain. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist graduating high school seniors in obtaining a college education and to promote Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. This scholarship targets under-represented minority female students (African-Americans, Latinos, Asian, Native Americans, etc.) who are currently high school seniors in the Indianapolis Metropolitan area.
Estella Caldwell Scholarship

This scholarship is in honor of Iota Zeta Member Estella Caldwell. Estella Caldwell was a retired teacher who served IPS students for 28 years before her retirement. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist graduating high school seniors in obtaining a college education and to promote Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. This scholarship targets under-represented minority female students (African-Americans, Latinos, Asian, Native Americans, etc.) who are currently high school seniors in the Indianapolis Metropolitan area.
